Event description

Description

Attendees at the seminar will become familiar with several chemometric algorithms which are currently used in pharmaceutical applications for classification and prediction purposes.

The lectures will cover the following techniques:

• PCA

• MCR

• KNN

• k-means

• SIMCA

• hierarchical clustering

• multivariate regression analysis such as PLS.

By the end of the seminar, the attendees will be able to choose the right multivariate technique, interpret the results and validate the built models. Thermo Fisher Scientific will present state of art instrumentations such as NIR, Rheometry and Raman and provide case studies of industrial applications.

There will be a poster exhibition where the attendees can represent their work. The three best posters will be awarded with £100, a generous contribution from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
