Event description

Description

ChemSex is a term that is used when people are having sex, which involves using one or more of three specific drugs (chems) in any combination. People take part in ChemSex for a number of different reasons and the practice is on the increase in the UK, particularly amongst gay and bisexual men. Tyler Andrew and Peter Bampton from LGBT Foundation will speak about the practice, its potential risks and what makes people do it. They will also bring along two people with personal experience to discuss ChemSex from their perspective, what makes it appealing to gay and bi men in particular and how they turned their own lives around.
