This year's CHEP Festival starts on Tuesday 8 July, with 50+ online and in-person workshops and presentations over 4 days, showcasing innovative academic practice across the Triple Helix (Education, Research and Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise).

Professor Phillip Wright (Senior Vice-President Academic) is opening the in-person event and will be focusing on the size, shape and aspirations of the University followed by a keynote by Dr Neil Gostling. “Twisting Through the Triple Helix: Lessons from Hidden in Stone” will see Neil explore the personal and professional challenges of navigating the “triple helix” of academic practice, sharing what he learned, what he’d do differently, and why it was all worth it.

There will also be various panel sessions taking place with senior leaders across all three strands covering key issues in HE, discussions on REF, KEF, TEF and insight on future priorities.
