La Event
The spectacular 65 mile Cheshire Cycling Sportive Charity Event takes place on Sunday 9th September 2018 from Knutsford. This is the third year of the Cheshire Cycling Sportive Gold Cup, we also have a 30-mile demi-route. "Best sportive I have done..."
Le Route - 65 miles/ 105Km (£22)
Cycle through Cheshire’s most prestigious towns and villages Knutsford, Mobberley, Alderley Edge, Prestbury, Bollington and Pott Shrigley. The spectacular route passes Windgather Rocks, the beautiful Goyt Valley, Cat and Fiddle, Blaze, Swiss and Wizard hill totalling 5500ft of ascent over 65 miles. The event includes similar roads as used on the 3rd stage of the Tour of Britain 2016 which finished in Tatton Park last year and across training roads used by the British Cycling Team.
Le demi-Route - 30miles/ 48km (£15)
For 2018, we have a "demi-Route" (30 miles) which gives cyclists an opportunity to ride some of the full sportive route. The demi-Route cuts out the big climbs and cobbled sections but still covers some beautiful roads through Peover, Goostrey and Marthall. Approx ride time 1hr 30mins.
