Cheshire Game and Country Show: August Bank Holiday

Cheshire's Leading Game & Country Show - with arena entertainment, supported by a host of smaller country sports arenas and workshops, the very best in countryside activities and entertainment. We can offer you an unbeatable family day out.

A chance to see your favourite country sports displays from Falconry, Horse Boarding, Scurry Driving, Ferrets and Fishing there's something for everyone to keep you entertained.

There is also the opportunity to have a go at Clay Shooting whether your a novice, beginner or an expert with your own gun there is tuition and advice on hand.

A large craft village with craft marquees and traditional craft demonstrations is the perfect place to buy that unique gift.

While the Food Glorious Food offers a range of selected national and local food producers and specialist street foods and drinks. Here you will find the Country Kitchen hosting a number of cookery demonstrations throughout the day - the perfect place to relax and unwind.

In recent years the show has been home to the English Open Chainsaw Competition a competition with carvers from around the globe, this year things are slightly different and depending on the current situation may vary.

There is likely to be a competition similar to 2023 with the Best of British Chainsaw Competition and daily speed carves with a chance for you to buy these brilliant sculptures at the auctions that follow, so please look out for more information.

With country clothing, quality country trade stands and children’s amusements we can offer you an unbeatable family day out.

Can I use my ticket any day?

Tickets are valid for one day only and are valid for either day.

Can I bring my Dog?

Yes, Dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead at all times (except when participating in an event). No Dogs to be left unattended in a cars or vehicles.

Is there Disabled Parking

Yes, when you arrive show the car park attendants your blue badge and they will direct you to the disabled parking.

Can I hire a mobility scooter

Advanced Mobility Event Hire will be attending the show and can be contacted on 01274 297 777.

Q. What will happen if the show is cancelled due to Covid-19?

If the show is cancelled due to Covid-19 or due to government lockdowns a full refund or transfer of tickets will be offered. Unfortunately, this does not cover individual non- attendance.

In 1977 the Queen's Silver Jubilee Year we held our 1st Antique & Collectors Fair. In 1980 we held our very 1st Craft Fair which then started of the craft fair movement, 1992 saw our very first Country Fair at Himley Hall which proved such a success we carried on to organise events at Sandringham, Burghley House and Bowood House to name a few. The first ever English Open Chainsaw Carving Competition was held at Sandringham, thirteen years on the competition is now held at our Cheshire Event and continues to draw the worlds top chainsaw carvers to compete for the coverted title. With Game & Country Shows, Craft Shows and Food Festival all over the Country and with nearly 40 years of experience you're sure to have a great day out.
