We are pleased to announce that the Cheshire and Warrington Careers Hub, The Pledge Partnership, and Cheshire West and Cheshire Council are collaborating to organise a Your Futures event for young people with EHCPs/additional needs in Cheshire West.

Hosted Tuesday 4th March at Dee Banks School in Huntington, Chester, the fair will be organised similarly to that of the standard careers fairs with all schools being invited to attend particular slots, however we will be looking to bring employers, colleges and other providers who are actually able to offer young people with additional needs meaningful employment.

We are also asking exhibitors to bring interactive activities on their hosted stalls, and record a brief introduction video so students are acclimatised to what and whom to expect on the day, these will be shown to students by their teachers before the event.

The day will include a parents and carers slot from 2.15pm to 3pm, where families will be invited along to learn about Post 16/18 pathways and transition, and network with exhibitors.

Parking will be available free of charge on the day, and refreshments and lunch will also be provided for all exhibitors, served and made by students from Dee Banks School. Exhibitors are asked to arrive for set-up at 10.30am on the day, with school groups attending following the conclusion of the parents and carers slot. This event is during the day only, and will conclude at 3pm.
