The Guild of Chester Tour Guides organise The Chester Tour, the longest running public walking tour in Chester – which recently celebrated more than 50 years.

Your guide will tell you about those who have contributed to the buildings in Chester, beginning in Roman times, though the Medieval period, the days of Georgian elegance and the changes that took place in Victorian times, right up to the present day. You will also hear about the impact of the Civil War upon this great city.

Meeting Point: In front of Chester Town Hall in the centre of Chester Town Hall Square, Northgate Street, CH12HJ by the flag pole. (Opposite the elephant statue.)
