When should we meet our guide?

Your guide will be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the walk to be ready for a prompt departure at the scheduled time.

Where can we park?

The closest car park to the meeting point is at the hotel venue but parking is limited. There is parking at the racecourse but there will be a charge.

Is the venue or planned route fully accessible (without steps, rough ground, steep gradients)?

Unfortunately, this route is not fully accessible as the walk involves many steps around the city walls and in grandstands so is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues.

This event is not tailored to a younger audience. The content is aimed at adults with an interest in local history.
