About this event
What is a Rows building? How did Chester Rows develop over time?
Conservation Officer James Dixon will answer these questions with a tour of the Rows’ most important spaces and features. We will go in, up, down, through, under and around architecture from the Roman period to present day and hopefully you will leave able to describe the Rows to others and explain why they exist.
This tour is aimed at anyone with no (or very little) prior knowledge of Chester Rows, how buildings stand up, and how cities evolve. Families are welcome.
