Chesterfield Manufacturing and Engineering Forum
Please note this event is only open to Manufacturing businesses, pre booking is required and any registrations from non-manufacturing businesses will be cancelled.
As a North Derbyshire Manufacturing Business we would like to invite to attend the Chesterfield Manufacturing and Engineering Forum at the Casa Hotel on the 10th May from 12.30 – 14.30
This event organised by Destination Chesterfield with support from NatWest and United Cast Bars Ltd will welcome Andy Tuscher from EEF LTD who will talk about the Brexit and the Industrial Strategy and Darren Buxton, a business growth specialist who will talk about Sheffield City Regions work to support business growth, and some of the programmes that are relevant to the manufacturing sector including export, innovation, specialist support, and skills programmes.
There will be a 2 course lunch as well as a chance to discuss business with your colleagues in the sector.
The forum was launched to give the Manufacturing and Engineering sector a voice in Chesterfield and Destination Chesterfield wants to develop a programme of activity around awareness raising, interaction with schools and developing skills. Sheffield City Region and D2N2 LEP’s are always asking for Destination Chesterfield to feed into Growth, Skills and Funding plans. We want to ensure we represent the sectors views and this forum will help shape that.
