Chicago has at least 77 neighborhoods (it depends on who you ask), each with its own histories, evolutions, landmarks, and unique characteristics. The "Chicago's Neighborhoods" series reveals these stories and highlights the diversity of this wonderful city.
Chinatown is one of Chicago's most popular destinations between its fantastic restaurants and interesting shops. It also has a fascinating history, great architecture, and beautiful attractions, including Chinatown Square, Ping Tom Memorial Park, and one of the few Nine Dragon Walls outside of China. The Chinese New Year is on February 1, so this is the perfect time to explore one of my favorite neighborhoods with me.
