About this event
hicanes are an alt-rock quartet from Norwich, East Anglia, whose debut album Something Beautiful (produced by Grammy-winner Adrian Bushby) showcases their explosive blend of raw intensity, shoegaze atmospherics, and emotional depth. Known for powerful, high-energy live shows that channel vulnerability into catharsis, Chicanes are fast becoming one of the most compelling new acts in the region
Modern Haze
Forged in the heart of East Anglia, MODERN HAZE, bring a raw, high-energy rock 'n' roll sound with provocative lyrics inspired by modern issues, love and unrest
Fronted by Jack Diggle on lead vocals and guitar, Jake Webb on bass guitar and backing vocals and Devon Arnold on drums and backing vocals, they are inspired by rock giants such as Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon, and deliver a fresh sonic experience with powerful vocals, scorching riffs and driving rhythms
Nominated best rock band in East Anglia in 2023, 2024 and 2025 by NMG Awards and regularly featured on BBC Introducing, MODERN HAZE are a rising force in the UK music scene. Get ready to step into the haze!
Running Club
Forming in the summer of 2023, Running Club are an independent five-piece band originating from Ipswich, Suffolk. We have played a number of gigs around Ipswich and Woodbridge. Running Club draw inspiration from a multitude of artists such as Foals, Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C. and The Jam to create nostalgic and energetic alternative indie tunes. In September 2024, we released 3 demo tracks to music streaming sites, and in the near future, we are going to be back in the studio.
A Different Kitchen
A Different Kitchen, a psychedelic project fuelled by personal experiences, grief and loss. Emerging from Norfolk’s quiet back country, the trio began making noise - where alt-indie meets post-punk. With band members now spread through London, Sheffield and Norwich, the group have migrated their sound around the UK since forming in 2023.
Having received accolades from Tom Robinson and Emily Pilbeam on BBC Radio 6 Music, with singles ‘BBQ Dog’ and ‘I’m Fine I’m Fine’, A Different Kitchen have since been tipped by the pair as ‘Ones to Watch in 2025’. A statement that the 5-piece outfit have strived to pursue, with two EP’s and a debut UK tour, leading to a slot at Sheffield’s ‘Get Together’ Festival in May, alongside emerging acts such as English Teacher, Swim Deep and Adult DVD. After a sold-out EP release party at The Finsbury, London, A Different
Kitchen are riding a wave of momentum, culminating in their second self-produced EP, ‘Revolt’, on 7th November 2025
