About this event

  • Free venue parking

Step away from the noise of modern life and into a sacred container of creativity, pause, and presence, set on ancient land in Bosham, where a standing stone and energy nodes invite deep connection and renewal.

Bosham, one of England’s oldest and most spiritually evocative villages, sits nestled on the coast of Chichester Harbour, with a history stretching back to Roman and prehistoric times. Our gathering place, the Green Door Centre (formerly Hamblin Hall), is said to rest at the intersection of ley lines — a perfect setting to ground, rest and create.

What We’ll Share Together:

Cacao & Smudging Ceremony
Open your heart with warm, nourishing cacao — a sacred plant medicine that awakens your senses and invites grounding. Follow this with a cleansing smudging ritual honouring the ancient land, clearing space for fresh energy and focused intention.

Free Flow Art & Creativity
No art experience required. With gentle guided prompts and meditative practices, you’ll enter a flow of spontaneous, intuitive creative expression — a quiet invitation to release stress and rediscover your inner voice.

Pause, Rest & Root
In this unplugged, distraction-free environment, you’ll be held with kindness and stillness — a space where creativity naturally unfolds and the mind finds calm.

Who This Is For:

  • Burnt-out creatives seeking renewal
  • Anyone feeling stressed or blocked in life or work
  • Fellow travellers on a journey of self-discovery and creative awakening

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be “good” at art to attend?

Not at all! This is a space for creative exploration, not perfection. All forms of expression are welcome—painting, journaling, knitting, stitching, resting… there’s no right or wrong way to create here.

What is cacao, and do I have to drink it?

Cacao is a warm, heart-opening plant medicine (100% chocolate). It helps open creative flow and emotional clarity. Drinking is optional—you're welcome to participate in the ceremony in your own way.

What should I bring with me?

Please bring your own creative materials (journal, pens, paints, knitting, etc.), a water bottle, and anything that helps you feel cosy (shawl, cushion, etc.). We’ll provide the cacao, music, and the setting. You will also get a PDF welcome pack sent to you when you checkout.

What if I just want to rest or be quiet?

That’s absolutely perfect. This is a permission-filled space—you’re invited to follow what you need in each moment. Resting, meditating, or simply being present is just as valuable as creating.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes! No prior experience in art, meditation, or cacao is necessary. All you need is curiosity and an open heart.

How many people will be there?

We keep numbers small (approx. 10–15 max) to ensure the space feels intimate, gentle, and grounded.

Can I book more than one session?

Yes! In fact, we encourage it. The gatherings follow the rhythm of the seasons, and each one offers a new layer of insight and connection.

.What is the refund policy?

We do not offer refunds but If you can’t make it, tickets are transferable to a friend—just let us know in advance or we will add you to the next event date.
