Chichester - Talking with Young People about Mental Health Issues (for people working with children and young people)

This is a half-day course for people working with children and young people in West Sussex.
This course is being delivered through a partnership between Coastal West Sussex Mind, Grassroots Suicide Prevention, YMCA Downslink Group, West Sussex County Council and West Sussex CCGs.
What will I learn?
This course will explore the difficulties around talking with young people about mental health and emotional wellbeing. The session will include practical strategies and approaches we can use when talking with young people about mental health.
Getting to the Venue
Chichester College is located just a few minutes from Chichester city centre. It's only a 5 minute walk from Chichester train station and bus station to get to the campus. The campus is also easy to get to by road, as it's just off the A27.
Timings and breaks
The course runs from 10.00am - 4.30pm.
It is essential that you arrive on time and complete the course. If this is not possible please inform us by email before priceeding to book at training@coastalwestsussexmind.
Tea and coffee will be provided during the mid-morning and mid-afternoon break. We will try and provide a caffeine free option but this cannot be guaranteed.
Your £15 registration fee is non-refundable.
