Child on Parent Abuse

A training day aimed at local practioners working with children, young people and families that may be being abuse towards their parents/carers.
The Learning outcomes are:
To increase the understanding of why children and young people use violence towards their parents.
To increase the understanding of children’s and young people’s use of violence.
To increase the understanding of how domestic violence can impact on the parent/carer when a child has perpetrated violence against them.
Look at the specific risks & barriers a victim may have when dealing with this type of abuse.
To increase the understanding of the types of interventions for children using violence.
