Event description

Description

Do you run children's clubs in a community, sports or church setting? Do you work within South Goucestershire? If the answer is YES to both of these questions than I am offering you FREE child protection training.

This is an opportunity for you, your workforce and volunteers to be trained in Child Protection. The Safeguarding Children Board have funded places for you so that together we can offer safer groups for our children and young people across the local authority.

The course is 3 hours long and will equip you with knowledge and understanding of what child protection and safeguarding is, what the signs of abuse are, what legislation is covering you, about digital safeguarding and how to promote a safe environment for your children.

The course is being hosted by Sue Wheeler who has been commissioned by South Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board to deliver this training. They have approved this course.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE OR ORGANISATIONS RUNNING OR WORKING WITHIN A COMMUNITY, SPORTS OR CHURCH SETTING, WITHIN THE SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE LOCAL AUTHORITY.
