Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)

Target Audience: Frontline Practitioners and Managers in the Public, Private and Third Sector across Tayside

Learning Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Understand the key terminology and definitions in relation to child sexual exploitation (CSE)

  • Recognise and understand to the key vulnerability factors and risk indicators in  relation to CSE

  • Understand the models and routes into CSE

  • Increase  confidence in identifying and responding to CSE

  • Highlight the importance of information sharing and multi-agency working when responding to children and young people affected by CSE

 

Please note before applying that non-attendance will incur a £50 charge from Perth and Kinross Counicl to your establishment unless previously notified.

The Tayside Chlid Protection Learning and Development Group consists of nominated representatives from NHS Tayside, Angus Council, Dundee City Council and Perth and Kinross Council Child Protection Committees (CPC) and includes other partners where required. The purpose of the group is to ensure the provision of consistent and relevant child protection learning and development opportunities for multi-agency staff across the Tayside area.
