About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

As we are a commissioned service for Sefton Council, you must either live or work within the Sefton Borough in order to be eligible to attend any of our training and awareness sessions.

Who is it for?

This 1.5 hour training session for practitioners provides you with an introductory overview of the impact of domestic abuse on children. This training is suitable for anyone who work in frontline services supporting the public for example, statutory services like social care, school staff or housing support. The training is also beneficial for anyone working in the third and voluntary sectors.

If you work with the general public, particularly with children or families then this training will be useful to you. However, considering that anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse this training provides some insight into the signs to look out for and how to help, so is appropriate for anyone who works with, volunteers or supports children and the general public.
