Bradford Children and Families Trust are an independent organisation who provide social care services on behalf of Bradford Council. The Trust has been in place since April 2023, it is committed to putting children, young people and their families at the heart of everything they do, to enable them to have the best possible start in life. The Trust has a strong belief that to help children, families and communities it is important to work with them, listen to them and ensure they are able to influence decisions about their lives either on an individual basis or as a community.
With this in mind the Trust would like to invite the communities of Bradford to come together with them to think about three key areas.
- The importance of children’s education
- How to keep children safe, with their families in Bradford
- Private fostering
On the day there will be speakers on each subject and then an opportunity to discuss each of the subjects with others in the room. There will be time for feedback to the Trust and Council senior leaders and as a group we will agree some key takeaways that we can work on together.
Join us on 13th October, 10.00am-2.30pm, Thornbury Centre, 79 Leeds Old Road, Bradford BD3 8JX
Yours sincerely,
Ruth Terry MBE, Executive Director, Social Care and Practice
