Sensory Processing Difficulties

Please note: This workshop is only open to Parents/Carers and people who work with children in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.

Delivered by Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale's Children’s Occupational Therapy Team.

Please do not bring children with you to the session.

The session covers:

• What is Occupational Therapy?

• What are our sensory systems?

• What are sensory processing difficulties and what do they look like?

• What can we do about it?

• Practical

• Create a sensory diet

• Questions

• Feedback

The session is open to parents, family members, carers, education settings in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale. In fact; anyone in this area who may support or come into contact with children with sensory difficulties can come along.
