Research shows that an environment where a mother is abused is the most common context their child is abused. At times this tragedy occurs during pregnancy, resulting in devastating consequences for the mother and her unborn child.
Perpetrators are known to directly harm children through both Domestic Violence & Abuse (DVA) and child abuse in 91% of cases. Yet much too often child victims (or survivors) are seemingly 'hidden', and their needs are neglected or misplaced.
Open to national delegates, the aim of this training day is to equip, empower, and educate delegates to adopt the best informed approaches when serving child victims, in a method that gives utmost priority to their needs.
Facilitated by experts, this training is especially suitable for multi-discipline professionals, academics, survivors of DVA, politicians, other professionals who work with victims & perpetrators of DVA, multi-faith leaders, & members of multi-faith communities.
The is £64.00 per delegate, inclusive of educational materials. REGISTER ONLINE or email at email@example.com for offline payments, alternatively call 01212317465. Places are limited.
