Event description
Monthly Woodland wellbeing sessions for parents who support children poor mental health and/or SEN, to meet up and recharge

About this Event

Woodland wellbeing is a support group for parents who care for children who have mental health difficulties and/or SEN . Whether your child has a formal diagnosis or not you are very welcome to attend. Currently we are unable to meet in person so are moving online to Zoom

This week we will be looking at resilience and things to do to stay mentally strong.

Supporting and caring for a child with mental health difficulties and/or Special Educational Needs can place great demands on a parent, often it can be challenging, confusing and isolating. Led by a qualified counsellor and therapeutic forest school leader these sessions offer an opportunity for support, and wellbeing.

These sessions are aimed at parents who support children or young people of primary or secondary school age. This is an adult only session.

Sessions will be led by Rachel Maynard an experienced Forest School Leader and Approved Therapeutic Forest Practitioner and Michelle Stone trainee counsellor, and child relaxation coach.
