Please note, only for ages 7 to 12 years.
We’re thrilled to announce the next season of Children’s Art Club at Focal Point Gallery, where young artists aged 7 to 12 are invited to unlock their creativity, develop new skills, and make amazing artwork in a fun, supportive environment.
This term, we’ll be working with the brilliant artist Sylak Ravenspine, who will guide us in the magical process of creating our own natural inks using everyday and foraged materials. We will learn how colours can be drawn from plants, fruits, and other natural sources, and then experiment with different ways to use these inks to bring their ideas to life.
Each week, participants will get hands-on experience exploring mark-making, textures, and techniques, discovering how to create a piece of art that is truly their own, from start to finish.
Along the way, we will also gain insights into sustainability and the environment, learning how artists can use what’s around them to make creative choices.
