Children's Choirs' Festival to mark Christian Aid Week 2017
Sat 20 May 2017, 19:30 – 22:00 BST
Christian Aid Week 2017
Join the combined forces of five children's choirs from south-west London to mark the end of Christain Aid Week 2017 with a broad range of choral music.
Christian Aid Week was set up 60 years ago to support our work with refugees in Europe following the Second World War. Today, it still continues with this invaluable work, providing urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is greatest. Through this concert, we hope to contribute to the costly work of Christian Aid through your generosity. At the same time, this festival of children's music will provide our own, fortunate, children with an opportunity to make music together.
The children's choirs of All Saints’ Church, Fulham; Christ the Saviour School, Ealing; Putney High School; Putney Treblemakers and Unicorn School, Kew will join together to sing a selection from Andrew Carter's Benedicite alongside familar songs from musicals, including Oliver, Matilda and Half a Sixpence.
This event is ticketed so as to allow all parents an opportunity to support their child. Tickets are free with a retiring collection for the work of Christain Aid taken at the end of the evening.
