Is there an age restriction?

Yes, this workshop is for 8+ year olds. There is a workshop for younger children earlier in the day. If your child falls out of this range but you'd like them to attend, just get in touch with us.

Does my child need any experience?

Not at all, your child will be shown how to work with the materials but they can make something simpler or something more complex depending on their interest, ability and creativity

Do I need to stay with my child?

Yes, you'll need to support your child with making their nutcracker. If they are older and able to work independently, there will be a market stall within the same space, and you are welcome to have a browse. There is also a small play space if you have a younger child too

What if my child doesn’t finish their nutcracker?

If your child doesn't finish or wants to add more details, we will provide them with the bits and pieces they need to do that at home

Come join us for a fun Christmas Nutcracker Making Workshop where children can get creative and make their own unique decoration (8 years+)

Join us for a festive Christmas Nutcracker Making Workshop in our magical Christmas play space at The Factory, Dalston! Children can get into the holiday spirit by creating their very own nutcracker using cardboard, coloured paper and other craft supplies.

From quite simple designs to complex creations, your child’s imagination can run free in decorating their nutcracker. The children will create their own masterpiece that they will take home to become part of your Christmas decorations.

This hands-on workshop is a fun activity for children of 8+ years old, perfect for developing fine motor skills, encouraging creativity and getting into the holiday spirit!

All children must be accompanied by an adult, with a minimum of 1 adult to 2 children in the same booking. Adults do not need to book a ticket.

1 hour workshop. All materials provided, and your child can take home anything they make during the session.

The workshop will take place within a room where there will be a small play space and a market stall where you will be able to buy a range of handcrafted decorations, Christmas gifts and craft kits.

This workshop is on earlier in the day for younger children. If you have multiple children of different ages wishing to attend, please get in touch and we can make arrangements for you.
