Children's Cyanotype Printing Workshop

Join us for a hands-on workshop where kids can enjoy printing their own cyanotpes whilst learning about eco photography and sustainable art making.

The children will choose objects and plants from the SILT studio and arrange them on light sensitive paper to make their prints with sunlight. It’s an exciting lo-impact image making process.

Each child will take away some prints they have made during the workshop.

Aimed at ages 5 - 10 yrs old.

Workshop led by Anna - I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

SILT is a studio and community hub for ecologically aware image and colour research set up by Anna Chrystal Stephens and Alison Ballance. We run in-person workshops for use of our facilities, public events, talks and exhibitions.

All elements of our programme relate to environmentally focused art practice. Processes and materials used and made in the space range from analogue photographic images developed with non-toxic plant based substance, paints, inks and dyes made using ecologically safe ingredients, textiles made with foraged or repurposed materials.
