Children's Forum at the House of Commons
Event Information
Description
The 'Young Adults Forum' is pleased to announce the launch of the very first 'Children’s Forum' at the House of Commons. Unique in its style (also referred to as CF), will gather 100 children in Parliament between the ages of 10 and 12. This creates the first ever opportunity for a 'Children’s Forum', giving children across the capital and beyond the chance to debate and engage with MP’s, Government Ministers and Aristocrats, with the aim to enable children to have a voice and realise their potential from a young age.
CF will provide the opportunity for Children’s to ask questions to a panel of MP's, Lords and Baronesses at the House of Commons on political issues facing society today. Please note they will also be TV and Radio opportunities for children to appear on mainstream and local TV and Radio to talk about their excitement and passions on the lead up to the Children’s Forum this May.
The 'Young Adults Forum', aims to challenge government on UK legislation, raise awareness on current issues, and inspire the next generation of politically minded individuals. We give young adults all over the country, the opportunity to voice their political concerns, towards MP's, Government Ministers, Lords and Baronesses in a similar style question time debate.
