Children's Geometry: Interlacing Rub el Hizb

Our children's geometry workshops have both completely sold out, and so we're excited to announce that we'll be continuing the sessions, running on the first Saturday of every month, and adding an extra class!

In this workshop, we'll be returning to our classic eight-pointed star pattern - Rub el Hizb! However, this time we will learn how to interlace the pattern on card to create an elegant, finished piece to take home! Don't worry if you've attended a previous workshop or not - in each session we wil guide the children through the pattern step-by-step so that no prior experience is necessary.

In each of our children's sessions, we will guide the children through a beginner-friendly geometry pattern using a pencil, ruler and compass. Aimed at children 7-12, no prior experience is necessary as we will teach the children how to use a compass (safely!), how to begin drawing circles and lines, and we aim to have a finished pattern by the end of each session.

N.B: If you feel as if your child may require support during the session, one adult may remain with their child to help them with their pattern.
