Children's Intermediate Scottish dance classes

Come join us for some fun, energetic Scottish dance classes tailored just for children! Our classes will be held at Christ Church (Scottish Episcopal Church), a beautiful and welcoming venue perfect for learning Scottish country dancing.

This class is open to dancers who have already taken Level 1 of the RSCDS Medal Tests.

Our older group develop their steps and formations, and dance a wider range of dances. Working together as a team they enjoy many challenges, dancing at events and demonstrations, whilst continuing to expand their skills and knowledge.

What should we wear/bring with us to class?

Dancing can be energetic so wear something comfortable and easy to move in. Scottish country dancing shoes are very soft and comfortable and can be bought from most dancing outlets and shops like Dancewear in Edinburgh (www.dancewear-edinburgh.co.uk). Before you buy shoes, you might prefer to come

Drop off and collection

Parents are welcome to stay or drop off and pick up. We won’t let the children leave the hall until a known adult has come to collect them.
