Children's puncture repair workshop
Tue 4 April 2017, 16:30 – 17:30 BST
A one-hour workshop for children aged from 5 upwards on how to repair a puncture. The workshop will also include advice on how to prevent punctures.
Please note that this workshop does not include taking the tyre and wheel on and off. Participants will work on inner tubes. We recommend that an adult helps with taking the tyre and wheel on and off. Our adult bike maintenance activities teach this skill.
We will have spare inner tubes that you can work on during this session. Therefore, bringing a bike is optional.
There is a £3 registration fee. Once you have booked, we will send you instructions on how to pay.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Minimum age 5. Maximum age 16.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is no car parking at Northfield Ecocentre. There is very limited street parking on Church Road. There is some free car parking in the Victoria Common car park off Church Road, but this closes at dusk. There is paid car parking at Northfield Shopping Centre on the corner of Church Road and Bristol Road South.
Buses 18, 27, 61, and 63 run nearby. We are about ten minutes walk from Northfield train station.
Please email email@example.com if you need advice on a cycling route to the Ecocentre.
What can I bring into the event?
You do not need to bring a bike. Sensible clothes should be worn. We provide aprons, tools and equipment including hand cream.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
What's the refund policy?
We cannot issue refunds.
