Children’s rights in the early years 家庭环境中对儿童权利的支持：国际经验与中国尝试

The invited speakers will discuss children’s rights in the early years from different perspectives. They will share research findings, practical case studies, and reflections on promoting children’s rights through participatory pedagogical approaches.

This is the sixth workshop of the “Knowledge-exchange workshop series for Chinese practitioners to empower young children for sustainability in Early Childhood Education”, which aims to support Chinese ECE practitioners to better listen to children's voices, encourage children's participation and empower children's agency in everyday practice, which would support SDGs and promote sustainability education in early years.

This workshop series is funded by the UCL Global Engagement Funds and hosted by UCL-IOE Centre for Teacher and Early Years Education and Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University.

Dr. Lynn McNair, Lecturer in Early Childhood Practice and Froebel / Research Fellow, University of Edinburgh.

本次研讨会是“支持中国学前教育工作者赋能儿童，落实可持续发展教育”系列知识交流研讨会的第六期。该系列知识交流研讨会旨在通过促进中国学前教育工作者与国际研究学者的深入交流以支持中国学前教育工作者赋能儿童，落实可持续发展教育。研讨会共6次，获得英国伦敦大学学院“全球影响力基金”（UCL GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT FUND）支持，由北京师范大学教育学部与英国伦敦大学学院教育研究所（UCL-IOE）教师及早期教育研究实践中心联合主办。

主讲嘉宾：

Professor Kay Tisdall，爱丁堡大学教授。主要研究领域包括童年期研究、儿童权利、家庭法、儿童保护、残疾儿童和需要其他支援的儿童研究（https://www.ed.ac.uk/profile/kay-tisdall）。

Dr. Lynn McNair，爱丁堡大学儿童早期及福禄贝尔讲师，苏格兰爱丁堡Cowgate Under Fives Centre负责人。在学前教育领域拥有草果30年年的工作经验，并在2009年因对学前教育的服务被授予大英帝国勋章（OBE） （https://www.ed.ac.uk/profile/lynn-mcnair）。
