This collaborative offer of professional learning from Education Scotland Northern Team, Northern Alliance and Local Authority colleagues 21 is primarily aimed at newly qualified teachers within the Northern Alliance
This session aims to:
• Raise awareness of the issues related to equality and diversity to ensure inclusion
Session outline
• Why equality & diversity is important – links to children’s rights, mental health and sense of belong and ultimately achievement
• Bullying survey in Northern Alliance – findings and issues raised
• From our school to yours: practical approaches to LGBT education and BME
Target Audience - Please be aware that the target audience for this event is for professionals within the Education Sector in Scotland and to register for the event you must enter either a Glow email address, school/local authority email address or a workplace email address.
