• Tote Bag 1.30pm til 4.30pm

All supplies & use of the sewing machines are included in the cost.

Learn how to use a standard electric sewing machine. We'll be making simple projects from a selection of fabrics provided.

During the sessions we'll cover the following basic sewing skills:

• *Understanding how a sewing machine works
• *Threading up a machine
• *Winding a bobbin
• *Changing needles and feet.

All supplies and machines are provided but if you have a specific fabric you would like to use, feel free to bring it along

Taking place at Fairkytes Arts Centre. Elasha Studios, 59 Billet Lane, Hornchurch RM11 1AX

Please bring a drink and a snack as we will have a short break.

NOTES:

• For sewing classes there will be no more than 4 students in the studio at any one time.

• All students will be asked to wash hands before commencing a class

• All students are encouraged to bring limited personal items into the studio

• Long hair must be tied back.

• Regular handwashing is encouraged.

• Toilet facilities are deep cleaned regularly by Fairkytes staff. Hand sanitiser is available for your personal use.

• External windows remain open where possible

• Individual machines and equipment are provided for each student and will be disinfected between classes. We ask that if you sneeze or cough by accident onto your workspace or machine that you wipe down with disinfectant spray (available for use)

NOTE - Workshop Cancellations:

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds, if you make a cancellation or do not attend a class. However, if you are unable to attend a class, course or workshop, you may transfer your booking to a friend or relative. If you wish to do this, you must inform us in advanced by emailing info@elashacreations.com

If in the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to bad weather, or other uncontrollable events, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual) or a refund.

In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or work hours. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a relative or friend!
