This workshop encourages participants to view mistakes as creative opportunities through a series of collaborative and individual exercises.

By removing fear of judgement and encouraging inperfection, the workshop aims to prvenet participants from seeing mistakes as negative outcomes, instead using them to come up with new creative solutions.

The creative activities in the workshop are based on Daria's illustrated book project 'Tippy and Kat', which explores mistakes in different creative practices. Visual mistakes can also be found throughout the book, from typos in text to misalighnment inscreenprints. Its characters, Tippy and his clay cat named Kat, are certain to inspire a new outlook in young readers.

This workshop is best suited for children between 6 & 10 years old. The workshop is a part of Daria's project outcome for the MA Authorial Practice Illustration course and Falmouth University.
