About this event

If you are looking for shooting and archery/crossbow/live fire activities for youngsters in the school holidays please email jeanette@targetshootingschool.co.uk and we will let you know what - if anything - is available.

A fantastic 10 days of Air Rifle, Air Pistol, Crossbow and Archery for young people aged 7 to 18 and a live fire session for juniors and parents. You choose the days!

Equally suitable for all.

The courses costs £30.00-£49.00 per day and are booked individually so you can pick and choose your activities and do as many days as you like.

The one-day courses are for both beginners and more experienced shooters. They include an introduction to archery and crossbow, with the rest of the time spent training in air pistol and air rifle. Each participant will cover all the activities listed on their selected day. Two days are reserved for live fire shooting for the more adventurous. Grown-ups like to join in too!

The courses build from a get-to-know-you session and safety briefing to several hours shooting each day. These are practical, hands-on courses, with most of the time being spent on the range. And it's a lot of fun!

Our courses assist in promoting self-confidence, self-discipline, team-work and friendship. Beginners will find it an easy and gentle introduction to the sport whilst more experienced shooters will benefit from several hours of coaching each day.

All equipment is provided, and there are no additional costs.

The courses are run by instructors certified by the National Smallbore Rifle Association, shooting's governing body. All have current DBS (formerly CRB) checks and regularly coach young people.

Fees

Each half day costs £49.00

Live fire which is £30.00 per session

Each junior course will start at 10.00 and will run for 4 hours finishing at 14.00 (please bring a packed lunch) apart from the two live fire sessions which run for an hour and are suitable for juniors aged 10 and above and their families.
