Are you a qualified social worker looking for a fresh challenge? Or thinking of returning to social work?

About this Event

The Social Work Assessment Service is holding an online recruitment event looking to employ to a number of different roles including Team Manager position, Advanced Practitioner position and Social Work positions.

The Assessment Service supports children and families in respect of child in need plans, child protection plans and children we look after, including those in care proceedings.

We offer a strong programme of training and support for practitioners at all levels including a robust AYSE programme. We have continued to grow our offer to support the Assessment Service with the introduction of our Edge of Care Service, Complex Safeguarding Team and our Child in Need Coordinator.

During these unprecedented times, we’re doing our recruitment events virtually! We would like to meet over Microsoft Teams to discuss what St Helens Borough Council can offer you in relation to career development and a new challenge and to meet the Head of Service, Christine Foster-Alonge and the Principal Social Worker, Simon Manseri, to discuss the roles available.
