Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 60 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre.
The Children’s Winchester History tours are for children aged 7 years and over along with their grown-ups. The tour will highlight the most wonderful, worst, weirdest and whackiest stories of Winchester. Including myths, legends, ghosts and the craziest of the kings, queens and ordinary folk of the city’s past. There will be some hair-raising stories about Winchester’s past people!
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Prices and Booking
Adult Ticket - £8
Child Ticket - £3 (under 16). You will need to undertake a separate second transaction to the one used to purchase the adult tickets in your group. When booking for the children select the number of children's tickets you require under general admission category, enter the promotional code CHILDFIVE and click apply. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Carer Ticket - Tickets for an essential carer are free. You will need to undertake a separate second transaction to the one used to purchase the other tickets for your group. Please select one ticket under general admission category, enter the promotional code CARERFREE and click apply.
Tickets can be bought via Eventbrite until 9am on the day of the tour. after which any remaining tickets can be purchased from the Visitor Information Centre. Please show your tickets when you arrive.
