Description

Chinese Architecture: No More Nails Workshop

One ticket per person taking part in the workshop. Up to two adults can accompany the participant into the workshop

The ‘Mortise and Tenon’ joint is an ancient joint dating back 7,000 years used by woodworkers, blacksmiths and stonemasons around the world to join together pieces of wood, metal and stone to create beautiful buildings that have stood for thousands of years - without the use of hammer or nails!

This workshop is designed to explain how this is possible and to give you a chance to try building objects using this method for yourself!

Age group guidance - This workshop is suitable for school aged children and upwards

Visit our website to see more of the exciting festival programme or read our FAQs for further information on parking, directions and extra support, or contact the LSF team via email or on 01772 894288.

All money received from tickets, minus the EventBrite service fee will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation (charity number 801130).
