🎨 Description:

In this class, you’ll learn the foundational techniques of Chinese calligraphy, including brushwork, stroke techniques, and character formation. Once you’ve practiced the basics, you’ll move on to creating your own personalised calligraphy fan, incorporating both traditional calligraphy and abstract watercolour art. This one-of-a-kind fan will be your artistic keepsake to take home — a beautiful blend of modern creativity and traditional craft.

🖌️ About May Chan

May Chan, aka InkJoyGraphy, is a highly skilled Chinese calligrapher with over 20 years of experience. She has been featured in multiple exhibitions and earned prestigious awards in Hong Kong. May completed a diploma in Chinese calligraphy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012, and has since taught over a thousand students in the UK. Her collaborators include the British Museum, Jo Malone, Givenchy, and more.
