We're delighted to offer the opportunity to gain an insight into learning Mandarin at King's and the Chinese art of calligraphy as part of China Week 2025 with King's Language Centre.

You'll learn a few words in Mandarin and discover that it's easier than it seems—and fun too. You'll also have the opportunity to find out more information about Mandarin classes offered by King’s Language Centre.

Our 'Chinese calligraphy workshop & wellbeing' session will explore the art of Chinese calligraphy by learning about its history, styles, and techniques. You’ll practice essential brush strokes and write some Chinese characters, deepening your appreciation for calligraphy as an art form. This workshop is suitable for all levels. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to create your calligraphic masterpiece!
