Celebrate Chinese New Year with our dance and calligraphy workshops which are at 3 different times during the afternoon.

Times: 1-2pm, 2-3pm, 3-4pm (half an hour dance followed by half an hour calligraphy)
We are pleased to welcome back dance company Movema and the University of Liverpool’s Confucius Institute. Each session will begin with a lively dance session for all the family where you will learn about Chinese dance traditions with storytelling, fans and ribbons. The Confucius Institute will then introduce you to the ancient arts of Chinese calligraphy and paper cutting. Musicians from the Institute will also perform traditional Chinese music. Suitable for all ages and abilities.
FREE but pre-booking is required. Please book a ticket for every person attending.
If you book then are unable to attend, we ask that you please cancel your place/s so Eventbrite can release the tickets to the waiting list.
