Event description
We're back - and online for one night only! Join us on Zoom for a cracking session with 11 old favourite songs to play and sing-along to.

About this Event

Join in on your ukulele or just sing-along to 11 songs which were old favourites back in the day when we met monthly at the Three Crowns. Ukuleles players of all levels, and those who just want to sing, are welcome.

Four core members of Chippenham Ukuleles (and the charity gig band Junction 17) made recordings of the featured songs before this latest lockdown which we hope will make it feel more like a proper session than the usual Zoom experience. Thank you to Clive Stocker for his technical support which has made this event possible.

Once you register, you will receive the link to a digital session songbook, with the chords and lyrics for 30 songs, including the 11 songs we'll be playing at this session:

Bad Moon Rising

Blue Suede Hound Dog

Build Me Up Buttercup

Bus Stop

Country Roads

I Got You Babe

I'm Into Something Good

I'm Yours

Jolene

Rudy/Tide is High

When I'm Gone

Those who are based locally can request a printed hard copy of the Songbook, which can be delivered after 15th February: 1) along with an order of beer or cider from the Three Crowns (using our order line 07904 128 179), or 2) by post.

This Fringe February Event has been made possible with support from the Chippenham Borough Lands Charity, Chippenham ACE and One Chippenham.
