About this event

Pop down to your local People Planet Pint meetup to find more about what's going on locally with sustainability and how you can get involved.

No pitches, powerpoints or panels. Just People, Planet, Pint/s.

Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning, and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally.

We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas.

Afterall, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink?

Prefer a Pastry to a Pint? Head along to ‘People Planet Pastry’! Equally relaxed and welcoming, they run during the day and offer an informal way to learn about what is going on locally in sustainability.

The Chippy group meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month from 6-9pm – do come and join us ANYTIME between 6 and 9pm – you’ll get a warm and friendly welcome.

Your Volunteer Host

Linda Aspey is an executive coach, facilitator, supervisor, therapist, and global faculty at Time to Think. She supports businesses large and small, and leaders and teams with their climate, environmental and societal challenges, bringing the latest social psychology and “Active Hope” for better communications, engagement and action. She runs various free climate cafes and workshops, and speaks and writes on climate psychology, leadership, mental health and social justice. Linda loves seeing how the growing number of businesses in and around Chipping Norton are doing amazing things to tackle the many challenges of our time, and how talking more openly about “climate change” is helping more and more people to make a real difference.

Frequently asked questions

I don't drink beer, can I still attend?

Yes! The 'Pint' in 'People, Planet, Pint' really just signifies the informality & casual conversation that is a staple of our meetups. You are more than welcome to order (and indeed the first 33 drinks free cover) all soft drinks, teas/coffees, etc.

Who is People Planet Pint for?

Anyone who's interested in sustainability. We attract a diverse bunch, from sustainability professionals, council workers, students, people looking to shift careers, business owners & beyond. There’s no agenda and everyone's welcome, so even if you just want a free drink & to ask a question, come along

What should I expect?

There's no format or requirements on the night. It's all about having conversations and hearing from other people who may not typically come together in the same room. It's an informal setting (usually a pub) where you can pop down and meet like-minded people in your area, over a pint or soft drink.

I'm a bit nervous about attending...

It's great to see People Planet Pint expanding, although we understand some meetups can be busy which can be overwhelming. Feel free to reach out to your friendly local host/s (LinkedIn's are provided) prior to the meetup as they can welcome you and answer any questions. Please also bring a friend!

Organised by

A public transport enthusiast, a local councillor and an XR member walk into a bar. It's not a joke, it's a typical evening at People, Planet, Pint!
