Chivenor Air Cadets Recruitment Evening - Sep2025

To join as a cadet, you must be in School Year 8 or above. You can join at any time up until your 17th birthday

You need to be 20 or over to join as a volunteer. There is no upper age limit

There is no commitment to join if you attend the presentation evening: it is our opportunity to give you more detail about what we provide, and an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have

The RAF Air Cadets are a voluntary organisation and there is no commitment to joining any of the Armed Services when you join as a cadet, although many cadets do go on to pursue a career in the military, and the skills you learn in the Air Cadets will give you a head start if you do.
