Susie is the owner of Beyond Cocoa Chocolates and Patisserie where she offers a range of delicious baked items and Chocolate.
We will be about Cocca and becoming one of the few African heritage chocolatiers.
Susie will be sharing her experiences with us and also learning more about some of the ingredients from her background that have inspired her business.
Susie says:
"From nursing to becoming a Master practitioner in neuro- Iinguistic programming (NLP), I believe anybody can follow their dream no matter how long it takes.
My childhood dream was to become a chef one day. I became a nurse and followed this career path for about 30 years!
I love learning and also believe that we are each uniquely equipped to be who we are and fulfil our God given purpose. I am also great believer in celebrating life especially the little things that bring us so much joy.
I am passionate about food and anything to do with it! My adventure with baking started from the age of about nine. At age thirteen I started to make money from baking cookies during a time of famine in Ghana West Africa.
I am inspired by nature, people and things around me."
