Are there minimum age requirements?
The minimum age to take part is 10. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of 2 children per adult, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?
Please walk, cycle or use public transport to get to use if you can. We are just next to the Newtonmore train station, although the trains are infrequent. Newtonmore also gets served by buses. If you really must drive, there is parking outside of the kitchen.
What should I bring?
A sense of fun and the willingness to get messy. Clothes that you are happy to potentially get chocolatey. We supply aprons, but chocolate can get messy. It comes off easily in the wash.
Chocolate likes cool temperatures, so our kitchen is kept between 12 and 16°C. Please wear something you'll be comfortable in at those temperatures.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
What's the refund policy?
You can cancel up to two weeks before the workshop for a 50% refund. All cancellations must be in writing.
Will the course definitely run?
We need a minimum of three bookings for the workshop to run. We'll give you a week's notice if we have to cancel the workshop, and you'll receive a full refund or a place on an alternative date.
I have food allergies. Can I still take part?
