Chocolate Workshop with The Brownie Bar #localcollab

This is one of our local collaboration workshops, where we invite a local producer to share their wonderful products and ingredients with us. The idea is to enjoy creativity and experimentation together , to try and taste different recipes and combinations. With host chocolatier Jane Williams, this is going to be led by your creativity. As well as your own experiments, we're going to make brownie-filled chocolate conkers for a wonderful autumnal theme. Bring a friend, and enjoy experimenting with chocolate together. Or come on your own, and meet other creatives who love chocolate too! These one-off events promise to be an exciting chocolate experience, and you can take your creations home with you to show your friends and family.

In this event, we will be enjoying (eating) and working with brownies from The Brownie Bar. Set up by sisters Sarah and Rachel, and joined by 3rd sister Jo, we've got to know them really well, as they've recently become neighbours in our chocolate factory.

Work your way through a 'tasting' sheet to compare and contrast the different flavours of brownies, and hear a little bit more about how The Brownie Bar started up their business.

The workshop will then involve making chocolate brownie balls, coating them in white chocolate, and then inusing white chocolate with green cocoa butter colours to create a second layer of green chocolate. Learn how to create 'spikes' on the chocolate as it is setting to create these stunning looking chocolate brownie conkers.

With the autumnal theme, we will also be creating chocolate leaves to surround the conkers.
