As part of Folkestone Fringe 2025's Flint & Clay, our participatory performance trail is based on the theme of what connects us. A sea made from our many beings, we connect through the tides of our moves, our eyes anchoring, encore-ing like a shore to each other.
Like a living mural, we collectively evolve, merge and dance the same way as we all get up in the morning and lie in bed at night. Many of us have never met, yet we unite as a choir of bodies, a sea of souls and wish to connect with you.
We would like to offer a trail that makes us connect through what any of us have, a trail that assembles into a choir of bodies.
Choir of Bodies :Folkestone will change audience members into performance participants. All ages and abilities welcome. We will safely introduce a toolbox of prompts that we will build from as a collective and you can count on us to orchestrate us all into having an organised moving and resting choir of bodies.
We all have a body. Let us connect through assembling into a choir of Bodies.
NO PRIOR DANCE EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Please make sure to wear something you feel comfortable and fabulous wearing as well as appropriate shoes when applicable.
