Join us for what is set to be another fantastic day at the Earthship at Stanmer Park! This is the last of our big three summer parties for all our families featuring games, foraging, food, and all the good summery vibes.
When and Where
Wednesday 27th August, 11-2pm, at the Earthship, Stanmer Park.
What:
- Foraging with Christian from Urban Forage
- Outdoor cooking with Charlotte which will result in a delicious lunch
- Smoothie Bike - get some extra exercise in whilst making yourself a delicious fruit smoothie!
- Giant bubbles
- Parachute and tug of war
- Tons of of fresh air! And space to hang out and breathe deeply together.
Wet Weather Plan
We will be there whatever the weather (well, almost), so please come prepared for different weathers (sun cream, sunhats, water bottles, wellies, waterproofs). There is some indoor space at the Earthship. And a picnic blanket too if you'd prefer not to sit on the grass.
Travel
Bus
You will need to get the number 78 bus from Brighton Centre to Stanmer Village. The bus you need leaves at 10:04am from St Peter's Church bus stop A (arrives at 10:26). Please allow plenty of time as the bus only operates once per hour.
The number 25 bus goes to the entrance to Stanmer Park. If you need to get a 25, send Chomp a text for a lift from the bus stop to the Earthship.

Car
Park in the One Garden car park.
Finding the Earthship
The Earthship is a ten minute walk from One Garden. On the map below the bus stop is the red X, the entrance to One Garden is the yellow X, and the Earthship is the green X. Look for Chomp signs to direct you from One Garden. For those who might find the 15 min walk too much, Sam will take people up to the Earthship in his car.
The number 78 bus to head back to Brighton are at 2:05pm and 3:15pm, getting back to St Peter's church at 2:30pm and 3:35pm.
