Choose your own pathology adventure activity session for 8 - 14 year olds
Event Information
About this Event
This after-school session for 8 to 14-year olds offers a range of exciting but easy hands-on activities about the human body, health and disease. The activities will be demonstrated by real-life pathologists who are doctors that diagnose and treat disease. The event will take place on Zoom webinar so students will not be visible to speakers but they will be able to interact via the Q&A function.
The session will feature four activities that are in a brand new activity pack called 'Choose your own pathology adventure'. They will be demonstrated by pathologists who will also tell the students about their work and take their questions.
Developed with the COVID-19 pandemic in mind, the activities use everyday materials and equipment like stationery and kitchen items - the four activities are below. They will all be demonstrated at a briefing session on 12th January - please come along to this Zoom session to find out about the activities before the event with students.
